Khukh is one of two rooms in the separate maisonette of Dar Zeytoun, nestled between our organic vegetable gardens and the main farmhouse making it ideal for individuals, couples, groups of friends or families travelling together.

The twin or double beds have an additional “ferash” or traditional Moroccan sofa bed (70 x 200 cm), that can be used as an extra bed for children.

Stone-slabbed floors, white plastered walls with sculptured hints of the traditional rock masonry behind and a spacious modern wet room with frosted glass doors, combine with the shade of the olive trees that grow immediately outside your windows, to make this a calm oasis disturbed only by the call to prayer, the chirping of birds or the braying of donkeys and goats.

Your suite also benefits from a shared west-facing terrace and private south-facing garden lounge that is shaded by a pagoda filled with grape vines and views on to the centuries old neighbouring mosque, the cedar forests that mark the route to our neighbouring village of Muskerella and our organic vegetable gardens from which you are free to nibble.

Khukh also enjoys a private roof-top terrace with spectacular views of Chefchaouen, the Talassemtane National Park, our vegetable gardens, and sunset over the facing mountain range that many of our guests have described as spectacular … spend a few nights with us here and see if you agree.
